Jonny became our troop's 64th Eagle Scout on December 30, 2013. Congratulations, Jonny! His project was building benches and a table for Feed My Starving Children.
Boy Scout Troop 567 is sponsored by Pilgrim United Methodist Church in Plymouth, Minnesota. We are part of the Lake Minnetonka District in the Northern Star Council.
Our troop stresses activities run by and for Scouts, allowing our Scouts to gain leadership experience. While adults offer guidance, Scouts actually plan and run the meetings and activities. Our troop provides more than 30 young men with positive, enriching, wholesome activities and opportunities for outdoor adventure, leadership and service to others. Some activities we have recently experienced include the National Jamboree, Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida SeaBase and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. We attend summer camp at Many Point Scout Camp every year. In addition, our Scouts participate in many community service projects throughout the year.
The troop meets almost every Monday night from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Pilgrim United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Rockford Road and Zachary Lane in Plymouth. The Troop Committee meets every third Monday of the month at the church.
